As a Scrum Master, you should take it as your duty to inspect every single process to see what value it delivers. You will find that many processes only produce no / limited benefit or value and as a Scrum Master, you should eliminate these.
Pareto principle (80/20) states that on average 80% of value and impact comes from 20% work. You will also find that some process that has no value or impact. As Scrum Master get your team to focus on those 20% value tasks and reduce rest of 80% tasks that do not deliver that much value.
You will find that your team is achieving high impact and results.
Mentor your team to use the 80/20 rules in every day in their daily task. Get them to ask them self for each task, what value will it deliver. And if it does not deliver any value then they should eliminate it.
Also, influence your stakeholders to accept no from your team when their request have no value and also that they can calculate the value of each item.
One in of the organizations I was working in as a Scrum Master, I got a request from over five differents teams and department to produce a status report for them on a regular basis, and each of them had their own format and requirements. I pushed back and agreed with each team that they will get the regular sprint report that comes out of Jira. If they would like more detail, then attend the Sprint review sessions.
